The original My Agender website is on blogger.com, but they needed a way to sell the book online that was simpler to manage than using the Paypal interface.

What did we do?

- acted as advisor when the domain name purchase went wrong!

- hosted the website for a year (with the option to renew if they want)

- installed and configured WordPress for the site

- provided a one-on-one skype chat session to teach them how to use the site

- set-up the WP e-Commerce software on the site

- imported all the content from the original site

Still to do!

- import all the images from blogger

- design banner images for the site

- help with product pages

- integrate the site with Facebook and Twitter social networking sites

- provide full manual on the website on how to update and make changes

They needed a neat, clean and user-friendly website to engage with their visitors and allow them to get to the information they need quickly and easily.

With SEO and Social Networking with Facebook and Twitter set-up, the organisation is getting 1500 hits per month and rising!

What did we do?

- graphic design of 12 header images which rotate when the page is refreshed

- researched and found the best sliding panels available for their site, which are used for advertising and providing information quickly and easily

- linked the site up with Facebook and Twitter to reach even more potential visitors

- Helped set-up a forum for them, using the PHPBB forum software

- designed flyers for their events

Unfortunately, they did not have the originals of these logos, nor any files saved electronically. What they did have was colour postcards which included the logos and other elements they needed.

We . . . → Read More: Fruit Pedallers graphic design]]> The Fruit Pedallers have a number of original logos, painted by artists in the Westgarth and Northcote area over the last 15 years.

Unfortunately, they did not have the originals of these logos, nor any files saved electronically. What they did have was colour postcards which included the logos and other elements they needed.

We scanned the postcards into our computers at 600dpi to make them as large and detailed as possible, then began the painstaking work of cleaning-up the images.

This has allowed The Fruit Pedallers to retain their existing logos, saving substantial money on redesign, and use them for various purposes around the shop, including:

• Shopfront signage for the front windows
  
• Shop signage which we designed to be laminated so that details can be changed easily
  
• Shop ticketing, designed to be folded in half and laminated for ease of alteration
  

We created the advertisement in Adobe Illustrator and also provided copywriting.
