My Agender is a book of personal stories regarding gender edited by SJ Tipping.

The original My Agender website is on blogger.com, but they needed a way to sell the book online that was simpler to manage than using the Paypal interface.

What did we do?

What did we do?

- acted as advisor when the domain name purchase went wrong!

- hosted the website for a year (with the option to renew if they want)

- installed and configured WordPress for the site

- provided a one-on-one skype chat session to teach them how to use the site

- set-up the WP e-Commerce software on the site

- imported all the content from the original site

Still to do!

- import all the images from blogger

- design banner images for the site

- help with product pages

- integrate the site with Facebook and Twitter social networking sites

- provide full manual on the website on how to update and make changes

- assessed the website and recommended they upgrade the site as soon as possible as there were underlying issues which prevented them taking advantage of newer technology (eg. e-commerce solutions)

- suggested they simplify their menu structure to make it easier to navigate

- researched and implemented a solution for donations for their homepage

- developed a simple sitemap they could modify simply and easily

- set-up a music-player for their homepage and other pages

- reconfigured the Music page so it was easier to navigate

- created lyrics pages so song lyrics were easier to read and more professional in presentation

- wrote a full user guide for them to refer to when adding and modifying content on the site.

- graphic design of 12 header images which rotate when the page is refreshed

- researched and found the best sliding panels available for their site, which are used for advertising and providing information quickly and easily

- linked the site up with Facebook and Twitter to reach even more potential visitors

- Helped set-up a forum for them, using the PHPBB forum software

- designed flyers for their events

Julie Grant wanted to streamline her website and we came to the rescue with a WordPress Content Management System, and found a website theme that we customised for her needs.
Then we installed and configured a number of useful plugins, including a calendar, and an eCommerce shop.
Last but not least, we edited some raw footage she had taken and created neat video testimonials for the site which appear on several pages.
