- assessed the website and recommended they upgrade the site as soon as possible as there were underlying issues which prevented them taking advantage of newer technology (eg. e-commerce solutions)

- suggested they simplify their menu structure to make it easier to navigate

- researched and implemented a solution for donations for their homepage

- developed a simple sitemap they could modify simply and easily

- graphic design of 12 header images which rotate when the page is refreshed

- researched and found the best sliding panels available for their site, which are used for advertising and providing information quickly and easily

- linked the site up with Facebook and Twitter to reach even more potential visitors

- Helped set-up a forum for them, using the PHPBB forum software

- designed flyers for their events

She also got a tutorial on the WordPress system, and PDF Quick Start Guides to help her use the system

Eloise is a jazz singer who sings the “golden” oldies to seniors in nursing homes.
As a first-stage in building her business, she asked for a retro-look website and provided a few example images to give an idea of what she wanted.
We helped her get a domain name for her business and hosted it for her, then started work on the wordpress theme which we’d found that best-suited her needs. The theme was extensively customised with additional images obtained from different sources and a calendar plugin added and configured. The finished result is one we’re all very proud of!
We also helped create a new print flyer to advertise her services, and helped design an image for her business card (which she had printed by budget card printers moocards).

King Marong runs Djembe drumming classes in Melbourne, and around Australia for adults and children. He is a founding-member of Afro Mandinko, a West African style band.
King needed a new website to replace his original site which was in need of a revamp.
We reconstructed the site in WordPress, and showed him how to update the content himself (a neat reason to go with WordPress), and installed an eCommerce store, mailing list system and calendar plugin.
We are currently working on Search Engine Optimised meta-tags (title, description and keywords) for the site to help it rate well in Google search results.
Note: this project is still under developent (but the site design is complete!)

Julie Grant wanted to streamline her website and we came to the rescue with a WordPress Content Management System, and found a website theme that we customised for her needs.
Then we installed and configured a number of useful plugins, including a calendar, and an eCommerce shop.
Last but not least, we edited some raw footage she had taken and created neat video testimonials for the site which appear on several pages.

Waco Tao of the new building company “PowerHouse Homes” needed a full website, SEO and SEO Copywriting package.
We arranged:

  • hosting through Dreamhost,
  • set-up of Google Mail on the account
  • set-up and configuration of WordPress (including researching, installing and setup of relevant wordpress plugins)
  • set-up of Facebook and Twitter so the company can network their services simply through a single update to their website
  • researched and found a great WordPress theme to customise for the company website

Then we began work on the content! We:

  • customised the WordPress theme to include supplied graphics
  • worked on SEO Copywriting for each page, to clearly identify the services and materials used in the construction of PowerHouse Homes, and wrote SEO Title, Description and Keyword tags for each page  to help the site rate in searches
