There are a few file types that WordPress doesn’t handle well. Two of these are PDF (adobe Portable Document Format) and PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint).
However,with PDF and PPT viewer,you can now embed these file-types into your pages and posts!

Installation
Installing PDF and PPT viewer is easy;just go to the Plugins panel on the left and click Add New. Then search for PDF and PPT plugin,then install it.

Usage
Then create a new page or post,and to add the PDF or PPT file,click 
(Add Media),browse for the file and once it’s uploaded,click Insert into post (or if you’re creating a page,click Insert into page).
If you’ve already uploaded a PDF or PPT file,click (Add Media),then open the gallery tab to find the file.
When you’ve found the file,click Show,then click File URL then Insert into post (or if you’re creating a page,click Insert into page).
